

Scott Johnson is a managing director and portfolio manager at NexPoint. In this role, he oversees the investment professionals responsible for investing in public and private debt and equity securities across various funds. Prior to joining NexPoint in May 2021, Johnson was the CEO of Enviroklean Product Development, which he purchased along with a private equity group, and president of Trisun Energy Services. He has over 25 years of investment management experience, particularly in private equity, mergers and acquisitions and long/short hedge funds. He received a BBA in finance from the University of Texas and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Brad Heiss is Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of NexAnnuity, NexPoint’s affiliated retirement solutions business that includes its insurance platform, and a portfolio manager at NexPoint, where he oversees the firm’s investments in the financial services sector. He has over 20 years of investment management and financial services experience. Heiss began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he was an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group within the Investment Banking Division, and later worked as an investment analyst at long/short investment funds including Maverick Capital and Citadel Advisors before joining NexPoint in 2013. He holds a BBA in finance from the University of Miami and the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Kevin Fullmer is a director of product strategy at NexPoint. In this role, he identifies, evaluates, and executes investment opportunities and strategy to optimize the firm’s product lineup. He is the spokesman and client portfolio manager for liquid alternatives and registered products. Prior to this, he worked as an analyst in the Alternative Investments and Manager Selection Group at Goldman Sachs, with an emphasis on private equity. Fullmer received a B.S. in finance from the University of Utah and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. He is a CFA Charterholder.
